Your inspired life compass
Sometimes, we don’t need a 10-year plan.
We need a whisper. A pull. A spark of light.
Something inside us says, “this way.”
That’s what this compass is for.
It’s not about tracking milestones.
It’s about tuning in to what feels alive, what’s calling, and what’s quietly waiting to be heard.
Today, I’m sharing a simple framework I use with coaching clients (and myself!) when they feel stuck, scattered, or ready for a new chapter.
It has just four points:
1. North — What lights you up?
What gives you that spark feeling?
It might be painting with no plan, deep conversations, nature walks, or organizing your bookshelf by color.
This is your creative fuel.
Prompt: What did I love doing as a child—before anyone was watching?
2. South — What grounds you?
What helps you return to yourself when life gets loud?
This could be journaling, tending plants, folding laundry to music, or breathing deeply for two minutes.
This is your inner root system.
Prompt: When do I feel most like me?
3. East — What are you ready to rise into?
This is about permission.
What have you been quietly wanting?
To write the thing. Share your art. Start something new. Say no. Say yes.
Prompt: What desire have I been brushing aside?
4. West — What are you releasing?
Let go of something you’ve outgrown:
Perfectionism. Old labels. The voice that says you’re not ready.
Clearing space is part of the process.
Prompt: What can I lovingly put down for now?
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
But if you know which way your compass is pointing—even just today—you can begin.
Small steps, open heart. I’m right here with you.
Cheers,
